I am an artist and my son needs major surgery which overall will cost far more than he or his family can afford. He has started a gofundme campaign to raise $35,000. The link to his page with relevant information regarding his needs follows:
I am giving my art to anyone willing to donate to my son’s gofundme campaign. The type/size of the art work will vary with the level of donation as detailed below. I will also pay shipping costs to deliver the art to donors or, if local, will arrange local delivery.
If interested in assisting Mark’s needs then review the art on this website. After choosing one or more potential pieces of art make direct contact with me to determine the types and sizes or art available for given levels of donation. I can be reached via the contact page of my website. Once a donation has been made to Mark’s gofundme page I will immediately arrange for shipment or delivery of the art.
Caveats about the Art
Most works on paper are matted but not framed. These generally range in size from 12 x 9 inches (un-matted size) to 14 x 11 inches. I am willing to give these for donations of $100-$500.
Acrylics on canvas ranging in sizes up to 16 x 20 inches (un-framed dimensions) I will give these for donations of $500-$1000. In some cases framed works may be available.
Large works on canvas ranging from 20 x 30 inches (un-framed dimensions) up to 35 x 60 inches I will give for donations of $1,500-$2,000. In some cases framed works may be available.
Commissions for custom paintings can be arranged for donations starting at $2,500, depending on subject and complexity. No portraiture.
All works currently shown on my website, and many others for which I can provide scans, are available. All donations are made directly to Mark’s gofundme page.
A select group of paintings are currently committed for an exhibition at the Alamance Art Association’s annual invitational show at the Captain White House in Graham. Several additional works are being exhibited at the Galloway Ridge Collaborative Arts show running from November 23, 2020 to March 23, 2021. These works are subject to pre-sale at these shows and are noted on my website as “Currently on Exhibition”. The Alamance show works cannot be available until after January 6, 2021. The Galloway works are available at any time.
I would personally appreciate your taking the time to examine the need to help my son as well as the opportunity to obtain art at a discount from normal exhibitions. Thank you in advance for caring. Please share this opportunity with others.
Édo (Éduoard) Zadora is the artistic nom de plume for the artist Edwin Andrews. I have more than 30 years of art experience variously as a gallery owner, dealer, and broker. As a certified Senior Professional Appraiser (Fine Arts) I have evaluated millions of dollars of art works, and over the years have sold art to individual collectors, corporations, foundations and museums globally.
My oeuvre is impressionist, Neo-expressionist and contemporary art, working primarily in acrylics.
As someone who has traveled the world many times over, my inspiration is to capture the colors, shapes and energy of cities, countries and cultures. This takes the form of impressionist/expressionist paintings or abstractions which blend and mute colors representing the subject. My goal is to provide the viewer with an ease of understanding of the subject and to use the painting as a means of evoking fond memories.
